At Global Testing Services, we are seeking skilled and dedicated Cable Jointing Technicians to join our Technical Services team at our Canning Vale location. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and expansion of our technical infrastructure. As a Cable Jointing Technician, your main responsibilities will include:

- Performing cable jointing and termination activities for low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) power cables.

- Conducting fault finding and repairs on underground power distribution systems.

- Installing and maintaining electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, and associated cabling.

- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards during all cable jointing procedures.

- Collaborating with the technical services team to plan and execute cable jointing projects effectively.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Proven experience in cable jointing and termination within the electrical industry.

- Knowledge of LV and HV power distribution systems, including fault finding techniques.

- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and best practices for working with electrical equipment.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and a meticulous approach to work.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Dual trade electrician/cable jointers will be highly considered. 

3rd and 4th year apprentices are encouraged to apply.
